{"id":3350,"date":"2025-04-03T16:26:28","date_gmt":"2025-04-03T16:26:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/santemonde.org\/?post_type=projets&#038;p=3350"},"modified":"2025-04-03T16:27:41","modified_gmt":"2025-04-03T16:27:41","slug":"vwa-fanm","status":"publish","type":"projets","link":"https:\/\/santemonde.firmecreative.com\/en\/projets\/vwa-fanm\/","title":{"rendered":"VWA FANM"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Health Services for Every Woman, Every Voice<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This project strengthens access to essential services for victims-survivors of sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV) in the communes of Cap-Ha\u00eftien and Saint-Rapha\u00ebl in northern Haiti.<\/p>\n<p>In a country where insecurity exposes women and marginalized populations to daily violence and restricts healthcare access, initiatives like <em>Vwa Fanm<\/em> are vital.<\/p>\n<p>Led by Sant\u00e9 Monde in partnership with the local <em>Association Femmes Soleil d\u2019Ha\u00efti<\/em> (AFASDA), the project builds on proven practices tailored to local contexts to establish a comprehensive network of health, psychosocial, and community services for SGBV prevention response.<\/p>\n<p>This model, grounded in strategic partnerships with community-based rights organizations, provides continuous support for survivors \u2014 from immediate care through social reintegration.<\/p>\n<p>Our distinctive approach centers on community mobilization: local community health workers are trained to identify at-risk individuals, while engaging both women and men in awareness initiatives aimed at transforming harmful social norms.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"52\" data-end=\"239\"><em>Vwa Fanm<\/em> is implemented as part of the <em>Qu\u00e9bec sans fronti\u00e8res<\/em> program, thanks to the Government of Quebec (<em>Minist\u00e8re des Relations internationales et de la Francophonie &#8211;<\/em> MRIF).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":3348,"template":"","regions":[55],"class_list":["post-3350","projets","type-projets","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","regions-caraibes-en"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/santemonde.firmecreative.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/projets\/3350","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/santemonde.firmecreative.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/projets"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/santemonde.firmecreative.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/projets"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/santemonde.firmecreative.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/3348"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/santemonde.firmecreative.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=3350"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"regions","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/santemonde.firmecreative.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/regions?post=3350"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
