{"id":2757,"date":"2023-03-14T13:59:14","date_gmt":"2023-03-14T13:59:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/santemonde.org\/projets\/sigida-keneya\/"},"modified":"2023-03-14T14:25:56","modified_gmt":"2023-03-14T14:25:56","slug":"sigida-keneya","status":"publish","type":"projets","link":"https:\/\/santemonde.firmecreative.com\/en\/projets\/sigida-keneya\/","title":{"rendered":"SIGIDA KENEYA"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Healthy Communities \u2013 NQSF<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The SIGIDA KENEYA project focuses on the essential role that women members of the Women&#8217;s User Committees (WUCs) of two University Community Health Centres (CSCom-Us) can play within the Malian health system.<\/p>\n<p>Through its actions, this initiative aims to equip and support the WUCs and their 170 members in their mission to improve Malian communities&#8217; access to quality primary health care in the regions of Kayes and Segou.<\/p>\n<p>These efforts will include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Various training activities on management, women&#8217;s leadership, primary health care, women&#8217;s health rights and more<\/li>\n<li>Support to help WUCs obtain legal recognition<\/li>\n<li>The creation of forums for dialogue and intergenerational mentoring between the WUCs and their members<\/li>\n<li>The implementation of income-generating activities<\/li>\n<li>Support for the realization of health promotion activities within the communities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This initiative is carried out under the \u00ab Nouveau Qu\u00e9bec sans fronti\u00e8res \u00bb program, thanks to financial support from the Government of Qu\u00e9bec (<em>Minist\u00e8re des Relations internationales et de la Francophonie &#8211; MRIF<\/em>).
