{"id":1835,"date":"2021-09-16T18:36:08","date_gmt":"2021-09-16T18:36:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/santemonde.org\/?post_type=projets&#038;p=1835"},"modified":"2023-04-13T18:55:08","modified_gmt":"2023-04-13T18:55:08","slug":"declic","status":"publish","type":"projets","link":"https:\/\/santemonde.firmecreative.com\/en\/projets\/declic\/","title":{"rendered":"DECLIC"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"leadParagraph\">The objective of the Mali Healthcare Professionnals Training Support Project (or DECLIC) is to help make available sufficient numbers of skilled human resources for front-line health services. Its knowledge-based strategic focus is therefore centered on training for doctors and accredited paramedics who provide front-line healthcare in community health centres (or CSCOMs).<\/p>\n<p>To meet this objective, DECLIC supports three crucial and complementary components of the Malian health system:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Facult\u00e9 de m\u00e9decine et d\u2019odontostomatologie (The Faculty of medicine and Odontostomatology, or FMOS);<\/li>\n<li>The Institut national de formation en sciences de la sant\u00e9 (The national health sciences training institute, or INFSS) and its three associated schools;<\/li>\n<li>The Centres de sant\u00e9 communautaire universitaires (University Community Health Centres, or CSCOM-Us) and their Associations de sant\u00e9 communautaire (Community Health Associations, or ASACOs).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The actions taken for this project make supportive contributions to staff training, inter-organizational research and knowledge sharing, and the development of a framework convention for more well defined collaborations between the ASACOs, CSCOMs, the FMOS and the INFSS.<\/p>\n<p>DECLIC also works with transversal axes that are key to improving health systems, such as gender equity and environmental issues.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The DECLIC project contributed a lot to improving the quality of care offered to a disadvantaged population, with training for the centre\u2019s health staff, technical equipment, and construction and renovation work at the old CSCOM units.
