Following its annual general meeting, Sant\u00e9 Monde is pleased to unveil the composition of its new Board of Directors, a reflection of the diverse expertise mobilized to advance the organization\u2019s mission.<\/p>\n

Jean B\u00e9dard Appointed Chair for 2025\u20132026<\/strong><\/p>\n

A certified corporate director and Doctor of Business Administration, Mr. Jean B\u00e9dard has been involved with Sant\u00e9 Monde since 2019. Former Chair of the Audit Committee, he brings extensive governance expertise, notably as a professor at Universit\u00e9 Laval and training officer at the College of Corporate Directors.<\/p>\n

In his new role, Mr. B\u00e9dard aims to promote a vision rooted in ethics, social responsibility, and sound governance \u2013 principles that guide Sant\u00e9 Monde\u2019s work.<\/p>\n

\u201cI accept this mandate with both enthusiasm and resolve. I thank the Board members for their trust. Deeply convinced of the relevance of Sant\u00e9 Monde\u2019s mission, I look forward to working closely with them to support the executive team in implementing the 2024\u20132028 strategic plan.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Surrounding Mr. B\u00e9dard are ten members whose diverse backgrounds enrich the organization\u2019s strategic thinking. Their areas of expertise span global health, finance, law, governance, research, and human resources. This diversity strengthens Sant\u00e9 Monde\u2019s ability to address the complex challenges of global health.<\/p>\n

Recognizing Outstanding Contributions<\/strong><\/p>\n

The meeting also provided an opportunity to acknowledge two long-standing members whose contributions have shaped the evolution of Sant\u00e9 Monde.<\/p>\n

A Board member since 2018, Dr. Pascale Cholette has brought valuable clinical insight and a deep understanding of public health issues. She has also played a key role in our international initiatives, providing advisory support for projects focused on sexual and reproductive health and rights.<\/p>\n

Ms. Genevi\u00e8ve Larouche, who served as Chair for the past two years, concluded her seventh year on the Board. A pharmacist, manager, and respected leader, she skillfully balanced rigor and vision to preserve Sant\u00e9 Monde\u2019s legacy while positioning the organization for a confident and ambitious future.<\/p>\n
