It is expected to have a significant impact on the lives of over 240,000 people.<\/p>\n<p><strong><br \/>\nA Synergy of Local and International Expertise<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The PRESYS project combines Sant\u00e9 Monde\u2019s proven approach to building resilient health systems with Oxfam-Qu\u00e9bec\u2019s methodology in transformative leadership for women&#8217;s rights.<\/p>\n<p>At its core, the project partners with grassroots organizations that bring invaluable firsthand knowledge of community needs and realities. These include <em>Actions pour la Protection et l\u2019Encadrement de l\u2019Enfant<\/em> (APEE) and <em>Actions des Mamans pour l\u2019\u00c9panouissement de la Famille<\/em> (AMEF) in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and <em>Alerte Sant\u00e9<\/em>, in Chad.<\/p>\n<p>The project\u2019s unique combination of expertise will focus on :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>Building resilient health systems that can withstand conflicts, epidemics, and natural disasters<\/li>\n<li>Improving access to health services for vulnerable and marginalized populations<\/li>\n<li>Developing inclusive health practices that respect the dignity and needs of women, adolescent girls, and marginalized groups<\/li>\n<li>Implementing nutritional programs tailored to local contexts<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<blockquote><p>\u00ab This project fully embodies our vision of co-development in global health. By joining forces with our local partners, we&#8217;re creating sustainable solutions to critical public health challenges in highly vulnerable regions. \u00bb<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">&#8211; Daniel Campeau, Interim Executive Director of Sant\u00e9 Monde.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>The PRESYS project will be implemented in the provinces of Kinshasa and \u00c9quateur (DRC), as well as in the Lac and Bar El Ghazal provinces (Chad). Through its transformative and intersectional approach, the project will engage healthcare providers, community leaders, and women&#8217;s rights organizations to address gender inequalities in health, with a particular focus on sexual and reproductive health and rights.<\/p>\n<p>Key actions include supporting mobile health clinics that serve women and adolescent girls in remote communities, as well as sustainably upgrading healthcare facilities and providing them with efficient biomedical waste management systems, based on Sant\u00e9 Monde\u2019s proven practices.<\/p>\n<p>Through these efforts, Sant\u00e9 Monde, Oxfam-Qu\u00e9bec, and their partners continue their commitment to building more resilient and equitable communities.<\/p>\n<p><strong>For more information :<\/strong><br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/oxfam.qc.ca\/oxfam-quebec-annonce-un-nouveau-projet-en-republique-democratique-du-congo-et-au-tchad\/\">Read Oxfam-Qu\u00e9bec&#8217;s press release<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Photo : C.
