Sant\u00e9 Monde\u2019s Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointment of its incoming Executive Director. Ms. Lynne McVey will be the first woman to hold this position in our organization dedicated to international codevelopment.<\/strong><\/p>\n

A visionary and unifying force, Ms. McVey has put her leadership at the service of health systems in Quebec and beyond for over two decades. She has been working with conviction to promote access to quality care and the continuous improvement of services, in particular for vulnerable populations and women.<\/p>\n

Throughout her career, Ms. McVey has distinguished herself as a health professional, administrator, and manager. With a specialty background in primary health care, women’s health, and mental health, she has been actively involved in the development of Canada’s health expertise for several years as an associate professor at McGill University. Ms. McVey has an impressive network of provincial, national and international collaborations, on which Sant\u00e9 Monde will also be able to build as it pursues its mission.<\/p>\n

With her vast experience and proven skills, the Board of Directors is confident that Ms.\u00a0McVey will be able to lead our organization forward to even greater success, working with humanism, integrity, excellence, and efficiency. As Sant\u00e9 Monde continues to evolve and adapt to an ever-changing context, it is clear to us that her strategic vision focused on continuous improvement and the development of promising multisectoral partnerships, as well as her natural ability to make collective strengths shine will be invaluable assets for our team.<\/p>\n

Our new Executive Director took office on November 21, 2022. She joins her colleagues on the co-leadership committee, with whom she will be reaching out to all our staff and partners in the near future.<\/p>\n

We wish her all the best in her new position and offer her our full cooperation!<\/p>\n
